O Hadley Night

We packed up and headed East after I got home from work so that we could get over Stevens Pass before the snow dumped. As always, Hadley traveled very well. Thank you Moana, Tangled, and Little Baby Bum.

When we got to Manson, there was snow on the ground. Hadley wasted no time in putting on her coat and boots to trample around in the white slush.  Unfortunately, her gloves would arrive a couple days later. 

Sometimes Grandma tells funny jokes.

Before church we took a quick family pic to showcase our festive attire.

And it was a good thing we took that picture before church because Hadley would go on to face-plant into a wall while we were walking around during sacrament meeting. She was bleeding from her nose and lip, and as much as I tried, the bleeding and crying wasn't stopping. I guess Emily could hear Hadley's cries, because she came to checkup on us. We finally got the blood stopped, but it was all over my white shirt by then. We decided to just head out then and there to get back and give Hadley some Motrin. 

Also, some soft-serve to help with the lip. After that, she did great, and her lip actually healed pretty quickly.

We deserved that nap after all we'd been through.

Christmas morning came and everyone was so excited. Before they ripped into their presents the grandkids were forced to pose for a picture. 

"Holy crap, mom, just let us open presents!" - Max

She knew what she was doing when it came to pulling candy and toys out of the stocking, but we still need to work on unwrapping gifts. 

Uncle Dwight got her one of those pedal-less bikes, and she was pretty excited about it.

"Yeah, I'm gonna need a leather jacket for when I'm on my hog and need to go into a controlled slide." - Hadley

We gave her pizza for lunch one day, and when we went back to check on her she had taken off all the pepperoni and place it in the cup holder. At least she's organized. 

The crayons were busted out and Hadley and Leo got to work trying to eat and break them. 

Sometimes they looked to have figured it out. 

They both also got in a lot of quality time with grandma, even though she was being used as a booster seat. 

Hadley got some pretty cool gifts from everyone. She was especially proud of her new little chair. 

She had a great time and teamed up with Leo on a few occasions to get into the bottom drawers, especially the one filled with goldfish and candy.
