Five Months

So, I'm a week late with this post, sorry. Cambri is now technically a week older than 5 months, so I probably should've titled this post "Five Months and Change" or something. We've had a lot going on lately, okay? 

Anyway, she still smiles constantly, especially at Emily. Like, seriously, every time she sees Emily she gets a huge grin on her face. So, even though she is only 5.25 months old, I'm going to declare her a mama's girl. 

She is soooo close to crawling and sitting on her own. She kind of does both of those, but her crawling is more of a get-on-your-hands-and-knees-and-fall-forward type of crawl. Her sitting up has improved a lot, to the point where she can do it for a few long seconds before toppling over. 

She'll get up on her hands and feet and kind of just stay there not knowing what to do next. Then starts crying because she wants to move, but just can't do it when she's posed like that. She's improving every day, though, and will probably be cruising around with ease by the time we go to Utah next weekend.

We've started giving her baby food at dinnertime, and the kid can totally crush a serving of mashed up bananas.  She's a pretty good eater, and if you don't keep up with demand she will let you know. 

She has also slept through the night for the last few nights, with the exception of occasionally needing to help her find her pacifier.  

Overall she's doing awesome, and we couldn't be happier with her progress.
