Gobble Gobble Gobble Y'all

Thanksgiving was pretty low-key this year. With our government and media trying to shame and forbid us from gathering with family, we made the drive over to spend the weekend in Manson.

Hadley was excited to have other kids to play with, beating up on Cambri loses its luster after a while. 

Gma was playing around with the camera on her phone and was able to snag these shots:

Hadley knew where to find the comfortable seat that also provided her a view of the sunrise. 

Cousins!  Hadley had a blast with her cousins this trip. She's always enjoyed interacting with others, but with the shutdowns and all, she really hasn't had a lot of opportunities. She plays pretty well, but still doesn't fully grasp the concept of sharing, however.

There were some pretty awesome sunsets this weekend. I took this photo to prove it.

A couple evenings were spent over at Aaron and DeAndra's house. Rock was showing Hadley how to successfully pull off the triple-axel roundhouse on Smash Bros, while Cambri jumped on Aaron's lap.

Friday we set out to take a nice family picture that we can send out to friends and family. After scoping out a few places, we decided to go down to Willow Point.  

We went out in the morning, thinking it would mean Hadley would stay awake, but we were wrong. She fell asleep pretty quickly, actually.

It's hard to get a picture where both girls are looking at the camera.  It's essentially impossible to get one where they are both smiling, too. We always end up finding one that turns out pretty good, despite all the surrounding distractions, though. 

The evening ended with a showing of Mickey's Christmas Carol.

On Saturday we went over to help Jensley decorate for Christmas. As you can see, Hadley wasted no time getting into the Christmas spirit.

Always the little helper, Hadley made sure Aaron built a proper fire.

It was a pretty relaxing weekend. The girls had some fun playing with their cousins, we ate a lot of food and desserts, and we didn't get the 'rona. Good times.
