CHRISTMAS!!!

The weekend before Christmas we headed over to Manson for Luca's baby blessing. The girls got a kick out of Grandma's Disney tree and its many character ornaments. They also liked the foot pedal that changes the lights, or in Cambri's case, a phone.

Also, the gigantic Rudolph inflatable.

When we got back home, the final countdown to Christmas Day was on. The anticipation grew each day even though the girls have really yet to fully understand what's going on.

On Christmas Eve, the girls and I went to the store to gather supplies. On our way back we decided to stop at the Sultan Bakery to grab some doughnuts. Hadley, who really likes bread, ate quite a bit of it.  

Cambri, on the other hand, just sucked off the chocolate frosting.

Keeping with tradition, we made some pizza for dinner. The girls each got their own personal pizza to top and eat.

Cambri, went with the meat lovers, while Hadley just went straight cheese this time.

Christmas Day finally came, we led them out into the living room to all their gifts, and they had quite the morning.

Cambri was a little confused what the deal was with the wrapping paper, but once she discovered there were towns inside, she was eager to unwrap more.

She especially loves her new car.

Hadley got a Minnie backpack, which is currently full of all the candy she got in her stocking.

Emily got me this awesome sweatshirt with the leg lamp from A Christmas Story.

Also keeping with tradition, we had some cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

For dinner, we smoked some ribs and had some scalloped potatoes for dinner.

After dinner celebrated my birthday with some cake, although the girls seemed to be more interested in just the topping.

It was a great and relaxing Christmas. The girls sure seemed to enjoy it, and I bet next year they will be at the age where it will be even more fun for them.

Although we didn't get the white Christmas the forecast predicted, we did get a good 6 inches the day after. The girls got all bundled up and spent a good chunk of time just running and playing in the snow.

Another year, another Christmas, and it was a really good one. It's so fun watching the girls get excited about everything and anything.
