Thomas Family Farm

There are a plethora of pumpkin patches in our area, and so we can try out a different one each year for like the next 10 years or so. This year we decided to go check out Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish.

We went and picked up Hadley from school and she wasn't exactly happy to leave while her class was playing a game, but when she was reminded we were going to a pumpkin patch she forgot all about her class.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon, and apparently there is hardly any staff on a Wednesday afternoon, which means half their attractions and games weren't running. So, that meant no paintball or apple cannons. That stuff is only available on the weekends, something we didn't realize.

It was okay, though, there were still plenty of games and whatnot for the girls. They got things started with the inflatable jump zone.

It felt like we were the only ones there for a while.

Girls wanted to try their hands at mini golf.

We still have some work to do, but what didn't take long, was the constant swearing when the ball didn't cooperate.

They had this tall slide that the girls were barely just tall enough to ride. They had to sit in a fancy intertube and hold on tight.

They would actually go pretty fast.

They said they really liked it, but didn't ask to go again.

Hadley has been getting really good at the monkey bars. Emily said she didn't really have to hold her up that much at all. 

Cambri was content with the tire swing. This girls loves her swings.

Harlow pretty much just chilled in her carrier the whole time.

There were a few more inflatable games, the axe throwing being the best one.

They took a little break from all the games to sit on the old dugout bench from the Kingdome.

It wouldn't be a pumpkin patch without the duck races.

One of the girls' favorite attractions was the huge mound of dirt with tires and tube slides.

They had to stop and empty their shoes of sand quite a few times.

Emily even got in on the action.

They may not look it in this photo, but they had fun.

After all the fun and games, we headed out to the pumpkin patch.

It took a few tries...

But we finally got one we could use.
