Cambri Turns 6

Cambri's birthday this year was a 3-for-1 because it fell on General Conference weekend and Easter.

 The kids have been begging Emily to color eggs, so they finally got their chance.

I tried to take a picture with Bristol, but she kept turning away.

Some treated this like a serious operation.

Crewe was all-hands-in, literally.

The obligatory Easter family pictures. We tried our best.

Emily got a good one with the girls.

Harlow also wanted one with Bristol.

As for anyone's birthday, they are given the option of what they want for dinner. Cambri's initial request was for gumbo, but since Emily was making the cake, she told her they would need to make it another time. Also, we were leaving the next day for a week, and didn't want tons of leftovers. So, Cambri relented and requested Pasta-Roni.

The white cheddar with shells is basically a weekly dinner for them at this point. It's one of the only things they can agree on and actually eat.

Cambri requested a K-Pop Demon Hunters cake, and like always, Emily delivered.

Even with the glitter finish.

She loved it.

The middle layer is a whipped filling that Emily makes. Cambri wanted it to be mango flavored, so Emily added a few pumps of the Torani syrup to it, and it turned out pretty awesome.

It was a hit with everyone.

We then moved on to opening presents.

She was pretty excited about everything she got.

She got some pretty cool stuff. A Derpy tiger Funko Pop (to go along with the Funko Pops the girls got in their Easter baskets), inflatable punching bags, earrings, a drawing light board, a 67 shirt, and video walkie-talkies.

So, yeah, it was a fun eventful weekend.

Cambri is a bright light in our lives, and we are very fortunate to have her and watch her continue to glow.
