Splash Pad Hopping

One of the things that made it difficult to move away from Everett was the access to the multiple splash pads and parks. It is something Sultan lacks, despite the push from townsfolk for years now. Hopefully it will happen before our kids grow out of them.

When we moved to Sultan we also said good bye to the girls' pediatrician. After one of Cambri's checkups with a new one in Monroe, it was decided we preferred the one in Everett so much more that we would be willing to make the drive for appointments. So, with both the girls having appointments at the same time, we made the most out of it and hit up a couple splash pads and parks while we were there. It also gave us an excuse to order our favorite Chinese food from Town Story. 

Our first stop was at Willis Tucker. Hadley wasted no time running around and through everything. Cambri, however, took a little longer to get wet, but once she got going, she was all in.

After some running around in the water, the girls took a break to go on the swings. The swings are Cambri's favorite. 

But since the swings are really the only thing at Willis Tucker, we headed on over to Forest Park to eat our dinner and let the girls play on a better playground, which also has a splash pad.

Just like at Willis Tucker, Hadley was quick to make some new friends to play with. These girls held Hadley's hand and went from toy to toy, and from splash pad to slides.

Cambri headed straight for the swings and got comfortable while watching Frozen.

The girls had a great time at the parks, and it definitely wore them out. We got them changed into their pajamas and started heading for home at about the time we'd usually put them down for bed.  They were asleep before we left the parking lot.
