We finally got around to taking Cambri's birthday pictures. She picked out the dress and we headed out to the park in our neighborhood. Her default pose was to look back at me over her shoulder.
Then she would start throwing out peace and gangster signs, but I was too slow to capture them. She was just going from one pose to another.
I had her lean up against a tree and cross her arms, just like I had to do when I was getting my high school senior pictures take back in the day.
When asked where she wanted to pose next, she chose the playground.
She then took the camera and made me do some poses, too.
We're getting super close to welcoming kid #5, like, we're days away now. It's been fun to see the girls be interested in feeling the baby kick.
For a nice family outing, we headed into Monroe to Cranes on Main so they kids could waste money on cheap toys. They really enjoy it, and it was fun to see them work together so Hadley could get a pink axolotl.
Crewe even got a couple of turns. Good thing it was play until you win, otherwise he would've drained the points on our card.
For Memorial Weekend we got together with a few other families from church for a BBQ and fun. They live right next to the new playground the city installed, and so it was really convenient.
They were also able to ride around on their bikes, including this balance bike that Crewe found.
Every now and then the girls get along.
Emily is hanging in there. She's obviously really done, and in a couple of days, she will be. Our family will look a little different on the next post.
