School Pictures

We got the girls' school pictures back, and in spite of our best efforts, they still wouldn't smile like we know they can.

Hadley's looks exactly the same as last year.

Emily went in for parent-teacher conferences, and Mrs. Norton had great things to report about this little 2nd grader. She's been doing great in the high capability class, and aced her latest math test, which apparently puts her in the 96th percentile for math, in the entire state. We are still working on reading and writing, but have seen tons of improvement in that area recently. Her teacher also said she thinks Hadley might have a little crush on one of the boys in her class, and that the boy apparently told the teacher Hadley was staring at him and following him around. So, that'll be fun.

Cambri has also been thriving in Kindergarten. Her teacher, Ms. Tami, told us she submitted a referral to have Cambri take the test to be evaluated for high capability for next year. She said Cambri is a great student, who is friendly with everyone and who genuinely enjoys learning. 

Definitely very proud of these girls.
