We're halfway!!!
Today, Emily hit the 20-week mark, and has been doing great. Baby C is the size of an ear of corn at this point, and weighs nearly 11 ounces. We have an ultrasound tomorrow, and will know the official numbers then.
That baby bump is becoming more and more noticeable. She's getting to the point where she can really flaunt it without fearing people will mistakenly think she's getting fat instead of being pregnant.
The nausea is still present, but she's not throwing up as much right now. She went three whole days without up-chucking! One of the things that has frustrated her the most is her legs have been feeling pretty weak, so she really hasn't been able to go on long walks like the last time she was pregnant.
She's been such a champ though. From my point of view, I think in many aspects she's doing better than when she was pregnant with Hadley. At this point in the last pregnancy her diet still mostly consisted of bagels and noodles. This time she's been able to eat a lot more foods. Also, last time she couldn't stand the smell of the couch, and this time it hasn't really bothered her.
***UPDATE***
Today was Emily's 20-week ultrasound, the one where they do all the measurements and whatnot. Baby C is measuring well, roughly 20 weeks and 5 days. She's weighing in at around 13 ounces. She was really curled up, so much that the technician was having a hard time getting some of the measurements he needed. He only printed off two pictures for us, and they aren't even the best looks he got of her.
We've known we are having a girl, but this helped confirm it.
